Era 1: The Creator-Executive (1995 - 2008)
THE ROLE: Founder & CEO | Author & Publisher (Agency, Printing, Film Production & Publishing)
THE WIN: Top-tier vendor for Hollywood studios; Distributor for clients including Jane Seymour; Secured $140M in funding for my major film slate.
THE SKILL: Managing the full "Idea-to-Shelf" lifecycle: Sales • Marketing • Design • Printing • Consumer Products • Manufacturing • Distribution • Logistics
THE NARRATIVE: I have always been a multitasker. While building the physical infrastructure for major studios, I was simultaneously building my own IPs—writing comics, cookbooks, and novels while distributing for celebrity clients.
I moved from operations to the deal table, packaging film slates and securing major financing. My operations became so efficient that an investor group tapped me to lead a potential major studio acquisition.
The Acting Years. I loved the work, but fate pushed me toward production. I decided I'd rather build the studio than audition for it.
ERA 2: The Crash, The Theft & The Hard Reset (2008 - 2015)
THE ROLE: Freelance Designer | Executive Assistant | Tech Student
THE WIN: The Survival. Navigating the "Lost Decade" after the crash, learning to survive in a new digital economy while experiencing how traditional systems exploit creators and witnessing the dark reality of the financial system.
THE SKILL: Resilience • Intellectual Property Strategy • Emerging Tech (AWS, IoT) • Global Finance Mechanics
THE NARRATIVE: The market crash evaporated the $140M in funding I had secured. But the loss wasn't just financial; it was creative. Just before the collapse, I watched studios "mirror" our projects—my book inspired a new $7B industry and my partner’s concepts became genre-defining hits without us.
Disillusioned, I went on indefinite hiatus. I stripped everything down to survive. I took freelance design jobs and worked as an assistant for private financiers—gaining a visceral education in the global financial system.
I learned the raw mechanics of banking, trading, and asset management. I saw how the infrastructure worked and the clear strategy those in power implemented to maintain control.
As my prior markets had changed, I taught myself the language of the future—AWS, IoT, new creative apps, strategic video production, and social media content creation.
ERA 3: The Strategist & The Caregiver
(2015 - 2024)
THE ROLE: Private Asset Operations | Creative Director | Primary Caregiver
THE WIN: Rebuilt a successful freelance design business with new clients; Drove 2 Billion+ views for a major record label; Managed due diligence and contract structuring for private wealth.
THE SKILL: Contract Structuring • Fraud Detection • Digital Strategy • Content Creation • Resilience
THE NARRATIVE: I went quiet and went deep. I rebuilt my design business from the ground up, securing a new roster of clients and mastering the digital algorithm to drive billions of views for the music industry.
Simultaneously, I worked privately in asset management—vetting the system rather than just supporting it. Drawing on my legal background, I drafted contracts and acted as the "translator" on high-stakes calls. It was a masterclass
in discernment; I learned to spot the fraud hidden in "sure things" and built lasting strategic alliances with the few I could trust.
But my most important work happened offline. I structured my life to work from home so I could care for my mother (a former lawyer herself) through her battle with Parkinson's.
I learned that true sovereignty is having the freedom to be there for the people who matter most.
Creative Direction with Purpose. Visualizing the anthem for sovereignty inspired by the resilience of the Ukrainian people. I partnered with Hal Pollock to turn a protest song into a global movement.
ERA 4: The Sovereign Era (2025 - Future)
THE ROLE: Founder, By.Storytellers | Host, The AI & Human Podcast (Author, Filmmaker, Designer & Producer)
THE WIN: The Synthesis. Launching a fully independent media ecosystem—combining 30 years of research and business strategy into a slate of Books, Audiobooks, Films, and The Council.
THE SKILL: AI Orchestration • Storytelling • Audio/Video Production • Sovereign Commerce
THE NARRATIVE: The research is complete. The system is mapped. Now, I am building the work I was born to make.
I established debbiebishop.com as the sovereign headquarters for my creative empire. Under my label Angelgate Entertainment, it is the central home for
my books (which I write and voice), my film projects,
and e-commerce brands.
Alongside this, I launched By.Storytellers as a dedicated broadcast platform—a living archive of turning-point stories. It hosts interviews with creators and The AI Council. Where many shows interview people already in the spotlight, By.Storytellers honors the making of it—
behind-the-scenes tales of the "why" behind the creations, in conversations crafted to benefit the viewer.
Whether exploring human creativity or leading a roundtable of artificial intelligences on The Council, I am proving that when you own your infrastructure and control your story, you are truly sovereign.
I realize now that the past 30 years were not random—they were an education. Every win, every loss, and every lesson was choreographed to prepare me for this moment. I am fully capable, and I am finally ready.
